HIFEMS Pelvic Pro

High-Intensity Focused Electro Magnetic Stimulation for the Pelvic Floor

This device uses a powerful but harmless form of electromagnetic stimulation to contract the muscles of the Pelvic floor. These magnetic fields create electrical currents, which are passed to the muscles.

Designed to target the Pelvic floor muscles. The Pelvic Pro stimulates the deep muscles of the pelvic floor, similar to performing Kegel exercises. Our Pelvic Pro stimulates approximately 11,000 contractions in just 30 minutes. These powerful induced muscle contractions are known as supramaximal contractions which are not voluntary. They are very important for muscle re-education. Studies have shown that 81% of participants had a significant reduction in their symptoms after a course of 6 treatments,

Suitable for both Men and Women looking to improve bladder control and erectile function. Please note that this treatment is not suitable for individuals with bladder prolapses or who have recently given birth.

What is a typical treatment session?

Clients sit on the pad pictured, either fully clothed or in underwear for the treatment. A technician will be on hand to make adjustments the intensity of the treatment to ensure that you remain comfortable throughout. The treatment is 20 to 30 minutes in length.

How many sessions will I need?

Our technician will discuss your specific goals with you. We recommend 6 to 8 treatments per area of concern. The treatment is typically about 20 -30 minutes per session, with sessions separated by at least 2 days. Completing a full treatment series is necessary to maximize treatment efficacy. You may need additional treatments depending on how well your body responds. We do recommend a maintenance session at least once every 6 weeks, to ensure that your results continue.

Does it hurt?

The treatment is painless. The sensation can be intense, but our technician will be on hand to assist you and adjust the settings of the machine to ensure you remain comfortable throughout.

How soon can I expect to see a change?

This may vary depending on your age and physical condition. Many clients notice an improvement within hours after their first treatment. Studies have shown that 81.33% of recipients reported the most significant reduction in their symptoms after their sixth session.

For ideal results, patients should have 6 x 30-minute sessions.

Is there any downtime or pre/post treatment preparation?

Prior to the treatment you are not required to do anything special. On the day of the treatment, you are advised to wear comfortable clothing which allows flexibility for correct positioning during the treatment. You will be asked to remove all jewelry and electronic devices.

There is no downtime.

What benefits does the HIFEMS Pelvic Pro have over Kegels / Pelvic Floor exercises?

Kegels are great for tightening your pelvic floor, but they take time to complete, and some people forget to do them. Plus, they can be done incorrectly, meaning they have no benefit at all. One in three women who do Kegel exercises ends up doing them wrong.  The Pelvic Floor Muscle Sculpt treatment rapidly contracts your pelvic floor muscles, meaning you get all the benefits of Kegels in the space of half an hour.
